GermanyIn 2012, seniors Chris Fortson and Nick Bacon were accompanied by Coach Newby to Germany for the World's Universities Debating Championships, making them the first HBCU to attend the tournament in over a decade. The duo finished in the top half of the teams in the world, making history and representing Morehouse well.You can see pictures of their journey here.

BangladeshIn 2013, junior Emanuel Waddell and sophomore Rodje Malcolm made the journey to Bangladesh to participate in the Asia Debate Academy, where Coach Newby was serving as one of the senior staff members. The group gained invaluable experience and made lasting friendships, and even managed to win the Academy, bringing Morehouse it's first ever international debate title. See some of the journey here.

IndiaIn 2013, juniors Curtis O'Neal and Emanuel Waddell and sophomores Rami Blair and Rodje Malcolm represented Morehouse for the second consecutive year at the World's Universities Debating Championships, held for the first time in India. Both Morehouse teams had a strong showing and the school improved upon its previous appearance, finishing with a team in the top third of the world. You can see photos of the adventure here.
